Employment

A requirement for the Global Talent Visa is that you are likely to earn at or above the Australian Fair Work High Income Threshold (FWHIT). This is currently AUD175,000 for the financial year ending 30 June 2023.

This requirement can be met through one or more of the following:

  • Recent PhD
  • Past/current earnings
  • Labour Market evidence, such as salary survey or advertised positions
  • Expected future earnings, such as a job offer
